Our Beginning: From Metal to Textile, From Clutch to Clutch

Gavriel.us launched in 2019, as a place where discerning shoppers and fashion lovers alike can find great deals on high end quality brands. Owner Monique Hofkin wanted to embrace her love for fashion and quality made goods after years of business experience in a vast array of other manufacturing industries. Naming the site after her son, she began to build a boutique online.

While getting her master’s degree at NYU, she began renovating apartments by stripping them down and removing inferior materials, replacing them with high quality wood, stone, and metals, that were built to last. The result was a living space that looked and felt well constructed with quality materials. She returned to Philadelphia, her hometown, and continues to renovate and build single family and multi family homes.

Quality is key. Monique started over a dozen online stores selling recycled products that were either repurposed or remanufactured, taken out of US junkyards and rebuilt. One of these items are clutches used to power engines and hvac systems for cars and trucks. The replacement parts are sourced in the United States, keeping tons of metals and plastics out of landfills. The finished product was an affordable aftermarket replacement part at a fraction of the price of what dealerships could offer.

Monique always gifted high end bags, shoes, accessories for loved ones because she valued what the labels represent. Like the well constructed homes and mechanical parts, the high fashion houses promised quality. The craftsmanship behind any product found on gavriel.us represents the finest in the world. Each piece is hand selected and purchased in bulk.  Each piece reflects great design and craftsmanship. All items are genuine and come with certification cards.

We proudly offer women's, men's, and children's items. 

All items sold on Gavriel.us are direct from the designer, new with tags and authenticity cards.  We do not offer used or previously owned pieces.  We are not a third party platform.  This means we do not allow other independent sellers to offer their items on our website.  We handpick each designer item and offer it to you.  Many of our pieces are limited edition.  We work directly with the fashion houses to acquire and offer unique, beautiful, quality, high end luxury goods.  We stand behind our products and are proud to be American owned. We are owned and operated by women based just outside Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love.
